Viewer Version is 1.26.16 (6), Windows, 32-bit

Sorting the archived notices by date in the group info dialog works correct if the date format is set to YYYY-MM-DD. If you use one the other formats (MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY) then the sorting gets messed up. The same problem does not happen in other viewers I tested so it seems to be specific to the CoolVLViewer.
I cannot tell how old that bug is. I never noticed it because being an engineer I always use the YYYY-MM-DD format. My wife uses MM/DD/YYYY and she showed me that the sort order by date is messed up.

Thank You for providing such a great product! CoolVLViewer sure is my favorite viewer.

The date sorting works, but only in alphabetical order. This is not a bug, and if you didn't notice it in other viewers, it's simply because the latter don't let you change the date format, while the Cool VL Viewer does (and did for years)...
I'm perfectly aware of this limitation (check the sources for indra/llui/hbfileselector.cpp, for example, where I added a *TODO comment about date formats and sorting), and it's indeed on my "to do" list for scroll lists... Just rather low on that list (because it's far from critical)...

Thank you for the acknowledgement. I agree that it is not a critical bug. Regarding "other" viewers, Singularity has the "date format" feature (like CoolVLViewer) too and the bug does not show in Singularity. So there is at least one other viewer with the same feature but without the bug ;)

Again, this is not a bug (the code works 100% fine and 100% as expected). Just a missing feature.

Be happy: I had a look at what needed to be changed to get sorted dates independently from the time format and, since the changes are so minimal, I just implemented it...
