Hello,
My Win8.1 sys with onboard AMD, has 6GB ram, 1024mb of graphic memory.
However Cool VL only sees 384MB of it. Therefore frequently crashes.
How can i get the viewer to see all or 90% anyway of my 1024 graphics?? Thanks for any help!!

Please, provide the log file.

Also, check that the NoHardwareProbe debug setting (via "Advanced" -> "Debug settings") is set to FALSE; if not, set NoHardwareProbe to FALSE, set ProbeHardwareOnStartup to TRUE and restart the viewer...

I'm still waiting for your reply (with a log file)...

In doubt, in today's release, I added a new feature allowing to overwrite the detected amount of VRAM, by setting the LL_VRAM_MB environment variable; do so from the "Advanced settings" panel of Windows (add a new LL_VRAM_MB environment variable and set its value to 1024, in your case), for either the system as a whole, if you have multiple users on your computer, or your user account, then restart the Windows session.
