Post subject:  Connecting to local opensim no longer works
I just updated to the christmas release of Cool Viewer, and now I am no longer able to connect to local opensimulator. After checking the grids.xml file, it looks like the connection port used is 8002, when on standalone opensim it is 9000 by default.

The default port has always been 8002. If it's different in your installation of your local grid, simply change it in the grids.xml file (this file is there so that grids parameters can be edited, so...). In any case, there has been no change to the grid list in several releases, so if anything changed, it's on your own system, not in the Cool SL Viewer...

The default port is 8002 when running OpenSimulator in grid mode. When running in standalone mode, the default port is 9000. And most people running a local installation of opensimulator are going to be running it in standalone mode.
