Cool VL Viewer v1.26.22.21, 64 bits, Oct 20 2018 10:42:35
When I go to upload a mesh object, and add physics, the "analyze" and "simplify" options are *always* greyed out and unusuable.
This hasn't been a problem until recently, when I tried to upload an extra-skinny doorway and discovered that any mesh object under .5m on any axis needs to be "analyzed" before upload or it will default to behaving like a solid wall.
(The LL viewer has the "analyze" and "simplify" options available, so that's what I used tonight for my project.)
Is there a particular reason these options are not usable in Cool VL?
This is in no way a bug: that "simplification feature" (which, by the way, provides rather poor results) is simply not available in third party viewers (with Firestorm's exception) because it requires to use a closed source, paying license software (Havoc) that got no exact equivalent in OpenSource (TPVs use HACD for mesh decomposition, but this library does not have the "simplification" feature).
So, either you fix your mesh from a 3D software (e.g. blender) prior to uploading it, or you use LL's viewer for that particular upload...
