I recently switched my Mac to a more up to date version of the OS (10.13.6 "High Sierra") and since then, it seems I'm getting more and more often application freezes that can last up to one or even two minutes. I couldn't figure out what the cause could be, it seems to happen randomly. I tried to pay attention to what I was doing at the time it happens, how many people were around, where I was, and so on, but I just can't see anything. I could catch one that happened at once when I logged in in the attached log. The freeze happened between 1:43:12PM and 1:44:19PM, as can be seen in the log: there's nothing happening between these 2 times at all. During this time, I just had the dreaded "rainbow pizza" spinning and nothing else. After the freeze, I just get back control of the application without any crash or anything.
Here is my system info:
I was already getting occasional freezes with the previous Cool VL Viewer version (1.26.22.27) but it seems it has gone even worse with the latest 1.26.22.28: there's hardly a SL session where I don't have at least one. It's becoming very annoying…
Does anyone get that kind of freeze? And any hint about what the problem might be?
Thanks.
