It looks like
this issue...
Did you recently update your graphic card drivers ?... If yes, you might want to downgrade to the previous version.
Otherwise, it could be a problem with the hardware graphic settings for the viewer (Anisotropic filtering, anti-aliasing or VBO).
To force the hardware graphic settings to the most compatible ones (when you can't get to the preferences menu before the viewer would crash before you have a chance), add these options in the command line of the viewer (under Windows, it would have to be added in the shortcut, after the C:\SOME\FOLDERS\SecondLife.exe filename):
--set RenderAnisotropic 0 --set RenderVBOEnable 0 --set RenderFSAASamples 0
This is for v1.23.5. For v1.19.2, use:
-set RenderAnisotropic 0 -set RenderVBOEnable 0
(only one dash before each 'set', and no FSAA setting).
Oh... also try to clear the SL Viewer cache manually... It might solve the problem if it was corrupted.
