Post Local messages and IMs
In version 1.26.24, local messages and IMs are in the same window, but in 1.28 they are separate windows. Am I missing something to enable them in the same window in 1.28?

Not sure what you mean... One thing is certain; there is no change whatsoever done between v1.26.24 and v1.28.0 in this respect !

I suppose, however, that you simply started over with fresh settings... Just make sure to check whether the chat tab is joined or separate (i.e. made into a separate floater), by clicking the appropriate button (join or spit) in that tab.
