Post subject:  Edit objects of a friend who allows me to do it
Hi there!

This time I have the following problem:

A friend (who still uses Firestorm, but hopefully not so very much longer ;))) wants my help in creating and tweaking prims, so I've got the rights to edit these objects. Problem is, that the system doesn't allow me to edit these object when I'm on the CoolViewer. I tried to use the Firestorm (the latest build is pure slow crap btw, the FR is quite high but for the price of big lag, no solid mediastream rate.. well) and when I'm logged in via that I can edit these objects of my friend. That is true for all objects.

Any idea what could be the reason?

In the "Tools" menu, verify that "Select only my objects" is not checked, and un-check it if it is...

The only objects pertaining to your friend and that you won't be able to edit, would be "Locked" objects (see in the "Edit" floater, "General" tab "Locked" check box).
