Can we move around without camera resets?

I like to keep my camera a bit above the scene when I am exploring or inspecting my fields during farming. So far I could not find a way to keep the camera angle locked when I start to move. I set AutoPilotLocksCamera=TRUE in debug, but when I use doubleclick to autopilot in stead of regular walking, the camera still resets to ground level. Is there a way to lock the camera in The Cool VL Viewer?

You cannot lock the camera (at least not without a script), but you can change the Rear camera offsets to achieve the result you want: "Preference" floater, "Input & camera" tab, "Camera controls" sub-tab, "Rear camera offset" X/Y/Z spinners.
And since those spinners merely change a debug setting ("CameraOffsetDefault"), you could configure a Lua side bar toggle button to set/reset that setting to your preferred angle...
