Is 'Use parcel environment' always the default on login?

With no Lua automation running/present, is it expected that selecting say 'noon' (or any other customization) would persist across a relog? Even just disabling the debug setting UseParcelEnvironment/menu item, seems to get automatically enabled, after login.

You likely set a fixed time on login, from Preferences -> Cool features -> Misc. -> Sun position at login...

Simply disable it (slider on the left side, until "sim time" appears).

Hmm...I don't think that's it. I have always had that option set to 'sim time', and it still is, which I believe is the default. It was mostly puzzling me, but it's certainly not a huge concern.

Well, when I set it to "sim time", I certainly always login with "Use parcel environment" checked (in World -> Environment settings), and the said environment properly applied... I just checked again, and it does work as intended.

OK, if that's the intended behavior that is what I am seeing as well. Just trying to understand/solve some timing issues when trying to set the environment for the parcel I login to. The OnWindlightChange() callback seems to fire with 'parcel' after I have changed the environment in OnLogin(). Probably need to add some sort of flag to skip my logic in that first OnWindlightChange(). Thanks for taking a look.
