Land / Used Objects floater buttons disabled?

Post subject:  Land / Used Objects floater buttons disabled?
Asking for a friend.

She is in the same group, group active (the land owners group), also used the current Cool VL Viewer and sees this in the About Land floater when checking for object use. All buttons disabled. It worked at some unknown time in the past.

For me, all buttons are enabled, besides the Parcel Owner ones.

What could cause this "disabled button" behaviour? Is there any setting that could cause it?

It depends on your friend's abilities, as set for the role she is currently using in the land group.

There are several "Parcel *" powers, and each can be attributed to specific group roles (the group owner having them all enabled)...

See the corresponding "Group information" floater, "Members & roles" tab, "Roles" sub-tab and from there, select the role in the upper list, and see/set the "Allowed abilities" list in the bottom right corner to the sub-tab.

Ah, thank you.

Checking things, i noticed she has the identical group title, but a different actual role identity, so her permissions were different.

So this solves the mystery.
