Which client side viewer version requirements?

 On the Linux platform which official viewer is required for Cool VL Viewer?
Cool VL Viewer main page mentions 'official viewer' and 'Linux installation HOWTO' has example with 'official viewer', I take it the current now would be http://download.cloud.secondlife.com/Se ... 62.tar.bz2 At the same time main page also has a link to 'official viewer' http://secondlife.com/developers/openso ... 26.tar.bz2 So which one is the official viewer to be used with The Cool VL Viewer, SecondLIfe or Snowglobe? |

The Howto gives an example on how to install one of the three versions of the Cool VL Viewer. The download page provides the actual links to the packages to get to install each version. The Cool VL Viewer v1.25.0 is provided as an overlay to the official Snowglobe v1.4.2 viewer.
