It seems thsat the Nute button is greyed out on blue dialog boxes since I installed the latest Stable update. The Ignore button will be there, but Mute is not selectable.Has it been mentioned anywhere? |

This is normal for dialogs from your own scripted objects since you can't mute yourself neither your own objects (would be silly !). |

I see that now. Thanks. *Although I'm sure there are a few people who would like me to mute myself whenever possible. ![]() |

Actually you can mute yourself. I just helped someone find out why she couldn't see her own typing, but everyone else could. It turns out she muted herself by name. I just tested it in 1.26.1.7 and was able to mute myself just fine. I could see my text appear and disappear when I checked and unchecked the "show muted text" checkbox in the chat history floater. Not sure if it's a bug or not but it's possible if you do it by name. PS. I'm getting more converts to CV now that it's got mesh. Good work, Henri! |

Yes, there were some cases where you could mute yourself. Also, muting yourself for a specific type (example: voice mute) was having the unwanted side effect of muting yourself and your objects for inventory offers, for example. I completely reviewed the muting code (again) and reworked it so that:
These changes have been implemented in v1.26.0.20 and v1.26.1.8. |
