Post subject:  Difference of quality prims between 1.26.0 and 1.26.2 ?

Hello,

I am using now Cool VL Viewer 1.26.2 (Mesh enabled) most of time on SL. It's great work from you.

Unfortunaly a last little thing bore me yet... I see some objects "prims" less good with the 1.26.2 than with the 1.26.0.... The snap below is taken at the same place, with the same PC (ATI Radeon 4570) but the first is taken by 1.26.0 and the second with the 1.26.2 .

My glasses seem to be pixellized with 1.26.2... and others objects too.

I am sure that that is a little adjustement to do in my settings but I don't find it... I turn off the AI in the catalyst, I . turn off "Automatic Alpha Masks" like you said here http://sldev.free.fr/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=591#p2562

Can you help me?

This is a LOD factor issue. Check the RenderVolumeLODFactor setting (3.0 is a good value).

Or... You got a different Graphics setting for Object mesh detail (Preferences -> Graphics -> Check the "Custom" box -> push the "Objects" slider (under Mesh detail) to the right edge).

You had right, it was an LOD factor Issue...
I forgot to change this settings last day and it works good after changing the RenderVolumeLODFactor.
Shame on me...
