Cool VL Viewer forum

I've been trying to get used to entering local chat dialogue into the bottom bar - but I've never done it before so it's not easy adapting.

Every time I log in I put the chat history box into the IM box but can't use it to post.

Is there a way of making that possible in debug or somewhere?

Preferences -> Cool features -> User Interface -> un-check "Use the old style 'chat history' window" and restart the viewer.

Because some people talked about how good coolVL is, and i still hav enot found the perfect mesh viewer i have installed it.
But short after starting it, i found a big problem. chat is a crime. thee's no local chat button, only a histry button.
But if i press the history button i get a screen that looks like local chat, but the So required chat edit box is missing there.
And that makes coolVL complete useless for me.

The question, How can i enabeld the local chat box with chat input edit line ? its required for me.

normal the chat window is detached from that screen for me.

I found it already, its hidden under prefernces -> cool fauters -> disable "use the old style chat history"

Actually that's the basic reason I like Cool over other viewers (apart from mesh, better response etc), because it keeps Chat, Friends, IM and Group nice and clean, not in one bundled super-window. But that's just me

is there a way to get the chat input text in the history box ?
