Hi, just noticed a fact, that looks to be a small privacy glitch in the design of viewer automatic IM responses when RLV blocks IMs. Currently, the automatic IM responses are configured globally, inside the settings_coolviewer*.xml file that is shared for all avatars/logins in use with the viewer. As the response text in there can be (well, kind of) RP relevant, e.g. contain character names or something like that, i would have expected it to be in the settings_per_account_coolviewer.xml File like the BusyMode Response, which is kind of identical. So the feature request is simple, please move the RLV related IM block messages to the same per-login configuration file as is done with the BusyResponse. Thanks, Kathrine |

Well, historically, these auto-reply messages were hard-coded, then Marine made them configurable as global viewer settings... So did I in the Cool VL Viewer... This said, your point is valid (even if some people could object it will force them to reconfigure every message setting for all each of their avatars)... Next releases will see these settings migrated to per-account settings (and thus only modifiable once logged in). |
