Post subject:  @setenv_ problems

hello,
i try to change some windlight settings with rlv command @setenv_*:xx=force commands as follows:
llOwnerSay("@setenv_bluehorizonr:1.0=force");
llOwnerSay("@setenv_bluehorizong:0.0=force");
llOwnerSay("@setenv_bluehorizonb:0.0=force");
llOwnerSay("@setenv_bluehorizoni:0.0=force");

It should set Blue Density with rgb to 1,0,0 and Intensity to 0.
But my coolviewer sets all 4 values to 0.0. Other rlv viewers change it correctly to 1,0,0 and 0.

I am using Cool VL Viewer 1.26.2 (1) Oct 15 2011 13:38:57 (Cool VL Viewer).

Is that a bug or did i do anything wrong?

It's the way it was (and still is) implemented in marine's RLV since day one...

If you set the light intensity to 0, then all R, G and B values will be set to 0 as well (the intensity is used as a multiplier).

Not sure if it is a bug in Marine's implementation or in RLVa's, but you will get the same results in both Marine's viewer (which bears the reference RLV implementation) and mine.

I guess you should tell about this issue to Marine and see what she thinks about it.

Thank you Henri.

Setting intensity first and after it rgb works fine for me.
RGB will always be set to the same intensity if set after RGB.

RLV description should mark that as feature if its one.

In fact there is a bug in both RLV's and RLVa's implementations (neither is providing the same results as what the Windlight floater Intensity sliders provide)... The next releases of the Cool VL Viewer will fix that bug and I sent a patch to Marine so that she can fix it in her own viewer as well.

Fixed in today's releases (v1.26.0.25 and v1.26.2.3).
