 Saw this on the Niran's Viewer homepage. How is this done, can we have that in Cool VL Viewer too?

Nice feature. I like it. Is good if you want to build a scene with the floor like in this movie:

Is this a trick with water reflections and a custom windlight setting? That's the only way I can imagine it being done with a standard viewer, but I've heard talk about surface materials which may or may not be introduced in the future. I wouldn't be surprised if you could do that with surface materials.

To me it looks like well applied materials (normal + specular textures) on that floor. We have that in the experimental branch. |
