Exodus client mentions (http://exodusviewer.com/features.html) some features, is that something that might possibly go into Cool VL Viewer too? :D

Just asking...

Fancy HDR Shaders
Want brighter greens, deeper blues, and more subtle reds? Our color correction shaders allow for you adjust the color, and exposure, of the scene, independent from the region's windlight settings.

Work on this feature can be attributed to Geenz Spad.

FXAA Functionality
Ever noticed how deferred rendering tends to lack anti-aliasing? We've fixed that with our own "Fast approXimate Anti-Aliasing" shaders. It runs faster than real anti-aliasing!

Work on this feature can be attributed to Geenz Spad.

I use Nvidia Control Panel for SL Viewers including Cool VL and if you create a game profile there there is the option to enable FXAA (the only AA I'm using). Now I assume it works since I disable AA in the profile and in the client settings and I see no jaggies.

Not sure what you mean by "jaggles": I don't see any "stair-steps" with AA enabled, either in non-deferred or deferred modes (the best result being with 4x AA. Interestingly enough 8x and 16x don't give as good a result as 4x).

Note also that FXAA being a full screen mode, it will anti-alias the UI (and especially the fonts) as well as the 3D view, making the former look fuzzy (and especially making the fonts quite blurry).

FXAA is also much less accurate/pretty than AA.

I don't recommend enabling FXAA...

Neither do I get stair stepping (jaggies) in AA in either mode. I did some tests today and the 2 latest Nvidia Control Panels do not seem to override (and enhanced or none) the settings of Firestorm or Cool LV so I assume any other viewer as well. It used to in the past but that has always varied possibly due to LL changes? The setting that did work was Application Controlled. The NVCP will however give me AA I instead use FXAA (however that appears to be comparable to 2xAA and I do see a difference between 2x and 4x. I use Win7 and a 1080P monitor and I see no blurry UI (clear as a bell and even better in fullscreen mode). In windowed mode the viewer is actually 1980x1061 whereas in non-windowed mode I get true 1080P. Monitor size and/or resolution may be a factor?
