Feature Request: Linear Context Menu

Hello.
Please, add the option to use a linear context menu if the user wishes so instead of the pie menu. Currently, the pie menu offers around 8 options at a time, and the user needs to click multiple times if she/he wishes to access deeper levels in the pie menu. For example, to derender an object, right click then more, and more again to get to derender. However, with a linear context menu, the great majority of features would be one level away. In other words, right click, then derender.

PS: This is what I mean with a linear context menu.

NO !

The Cool VL Viewer is a v1 UI viewer. I made this viewer precisely because I strongly dislike the v2/3 inefficient UI (the pie menu is way faster and easier to find and click the options when compared to a context menu).

If you don't like the Cool VL Viewer UI, by all means, use another TPV !

I'm not asking for the pie menu to be replaced. I'm asking for an option so users can use the one they like best. Moreover, in what way is the pie menu "way faster and easier" than a regular linear context menu (used in 90% of applications) ) when this latter one only requires two clicks for the majority of the options?

I won't waste my time implementing an option that I will never use. See the red paragraph of this post.

I too prefer the radial menu, even if some stuff would be quicker accessible with a 'regular' context menu.

But if you got used to the radial menu, it's just 'natural'. :D

I have seen the 'reimplementations' of the radial menu in other clients (where you can choose between the two) and they suck greatly, as apparently the radial buttons are not 100% opaque but partially transparent/click-through, which is pretty annoying.
