Greetings. I hope it would be possible to request a feature. First off another viewer (Singularity) already has this so it seems to be TOS wise ok. It would be very usefull to have the Apply UUID function alike in CoolVL Viewer, appended to the Pick:Texture Floater, if the texture is inside the inventory it may display uuid, if not just leave it blank. This would speed up my workflow as i sometimes have to test if i set right textures in scripts and or syncronise the texture i own, across the whole prim or multiple prims.

Hi,
I'll second that. It would be a helpful addition, and it's one of the features I miss since returning to the Cool VL viewer from my brief stint with Singularity. I frequently work with UUIDs of textures in scripts, and sometimes it's harder to find the texture in the picker than to copy its UUID from a notecard or script.
Certainly a low priority thing, since anyone can achieve the same result using a script if need be (which is probably also the reason why it is ToS/TPV policy acceptable). No less one of those tiny little additions that make things more pleasant when building.
Love, Lia

There is already a feature for retrieving texture(s) UUID(s) on objects you created (and therefore have permission to copy the textures for): from the Edit floater, simply select the object (or, via the "Select Texture" tool, the face bearing the texture you want the UUID for) and type ALT CTRL SHIFT T (or "Advanced" -> "Rendering" -> "Selected Texture Info") to get the texture(s) UUID(s). It is then quite easy to copy the UUID(s) from the chat history and paste it(them) into your script(s). Note that it will also work if you deleted the original texture from your inventory (so it's a way to recover 'lost' textures you uploaded in the past and accidentally deleted since). This feature exists in all viewers (but was slightly improved in the Cool VL Viewer, to show texture face numbers and object(s) UUID).

Yes while you can grab the uuid of each side, applying them still requires you to use a script. So it would be Nice to eliminate one step. Plus it is a bit faster to reach, perhaps a option to turn off loading the inventory in the file picker? As i notice about 5-6 second delay each time i click Pick:Texture, and have to wait quite a while to load the inventory. (which is only a issue on accounts with more than 100,000 items)
Also to note that the hotkey for the Texture Info/UUID is a bit hard to use on Keyboards with ALT_Gr, as those have two different alt keys.
