I edited a note-card and was going to be finished without saving.
(I clicked [X] button of the top right corner)
However, I cannot close a edit window.
I had to hit undo repeatedly.

Please make it possible to choose whether to save or discard as before.

i use CoolVLViewer-1.26.20.41(x86-64bit and 32bit) :)

Not sure what you mean there... When editing a notecard and closing it with the "X" close button, the viewer presents you with a Save/Don't save/Cancel dialog: selecting "Don't save" closes the notecard without saving it. So, I see nothing to change/modify in how notecard editing works (and has been working for now over a decade)...

It does not occur until cool vl viewer 1.26.20.31

It occurs in cool vl viewer 1.26.20.32 or later

I see strictly no issue with how things work with regards to notecard editing in the current releases. It works like it always did. Please give precise reproduction steps and file a proper bug report if you think there is a bug.

Hello Henri,

I was editing a notecard today and realized I should had made a copy of the original first. I tried to exit out by clicking the x. However I could not exit out of the notecard, I had to undo all my changes before exiting out of the notecard. The only other option was to save the NC which I didn't want to do.

I was going to submit a bug report but saw this topic already created.

And I'm doing the same reply than I did before...

I see nothing wrong here, so do provide repro steps and logs, i.e. file a proper bug report.
