Annoying Hitboxes

In roleplay combat, the firestorm users have the ability to enable something called "hitboxes". What it does is that it shows a wireframe collision box around the other players. They also have the ability to color the box per avatar, so they for instance can color the enemy red.

It's a horrible feature I think, it takes away immersion and feels like a cheat, however since 95% of the players use firestorm it also gives them a big advantage in combat, and it seems everyone is using this feature.

I'm very torn in this issue, cause I hate firestorm for allowing all this (and a lot of other hacks), but I also hate having practised and practised and then getting killed anyway cause the other uses can enable a feature in the viewer that I don't have the ability to counter.

Sorry, but I'm not responsible for Firestorm team's choice, and there is strictly nothing that could be done on my side to counter it.

Was thinking adding hitboxes, would stop the annoying "why don't you just use firestorm.." discussion I always have lol

Always ends up in a long rant from me and then I get killed. ;-)

Since the "hit box" drawing itself does not add bloat and does not slow down rendering when not enabled, I added it for next release.

As for the coloring stuff (currently for mini-map dots and/or name tags, but the hit box will use the same color as for the mini-map dots), it's already there, just "hidden" (no hard-coded UI to use it). See the Lua sample script and how it uses LuaPieMenuSlice(), OnLuaPieMenu() and OnAvatarRezzing() to implement a simple UI based on the Lua avatar pie menu (SHIFT + right click on avatar).
