May we get the Group and Friends lists to optionally nest with the Chat History and IM window?

BTW, I am really enjoying the stability of the Snowglobe version of Cool VL Viewer.

Basicly you are asking for a choice between pre voice and 1.23 chat layout.
the idea is not to bad but it should not cost henri to much time, I for one love the pre voice layout and I think many do too and would not want to see it gone.

One of the key features of the Cool VL Viewer is precisely to implement the pre-voice UI that allows you to choose what floater to open (including all three IMs, friends and groups floaters at once if you so wish) and to resize them and position them independently on the screen (the IM floater is best wider than taller, while the friends and group lists are best taller than wider, and you may even resize the groups list to hold exactly the maximum 25 groups, thus saving the width of the scroll bar).

I do not intend to revert to the ugly, space wasting, and modal (since you can't display the friends and groups lists at once) "contacts" floater. If you want to open an IM/group session from the IM tab, you can still do it from the "New IM" tab in the IM floater.

I understand, Henri, I was just suggesting it because it would ease the users of other v1.23 based viewers(SL and otherwise), into using this viewer. Some will see the seperate floaters as a step backwards regardless of whether they are more usable or not. Besides, if it is an option like the nesting of local chat and IM is, then they don't have to do it that way if they like the v1.19 seperate floaters better. I was just looking at it as a way to bring more people to this viewer, as many people don't like change, as it is.

Personally, it doesn't matter all that much to me, but I have tried to get a few emerald users to switch and that was the first thing they complained about (and then, losing Jiggling Boobies .
