Greetings, as Cool VL viewer is the only viewer not affected to "input delays on PBR enabled viewer" (please see Second Life feedbacks to know more about that issue) and it's the most viewer used for racing communities / to drive a vehicle, I would like to know if the new project made by Leviathan Linden (Game Control) will be inplemented here. Game Control feature will be launched wednesday on Summer Fun server version. Thanks for the kind reply |

While I can not speak for Henri, I do know that Beq Janus submitted a fix for the input delay in Firestorm/LL viewer weeks ago. |

AFAIK, the project viewer implementing the game controllers changes is not any more in LL's viewer development pipeline (which has been drastically reduced to face the unhappiness of many SLers due to the PBR viewer poor compatibility and even poorer performances on their hardware). You can check the Alternate Viewers page on LL's site, and you will see that only the release viewer and the "Atlasaurus" release candidate are listed. I'm not even sure the git repository for the game controller viewer changes is still available... For now, I am concentrating on backporting Atlasaurus' changes to the Cool VL Viewer. If LL reintroduces a project viewer for those game controller changes, then I will tend to it, in due time and depending on my own real life constraints. |
