I would like to request an enhancement for the ObjectBackup patch to allow right-clicking an item in the Inventory floater and choosing export directly, rather than requiring an object rez inworld.

The reason for the request is to allow a simpler workflow (see it inventory, click to export), and to allow exports when located on parcels with limited prim counts remaining or where you do not have rez rights to begin with.

This cannot be done with the current export code, since it needs to have a rezzed item so to export it. I'm not sure about other exporters in other TPVs (perhaps Emerald's could do this, but Emerald's exporter doesn't even check for the textures creator and therefore violates the TPV policy).
