Now if a land is group owned, to create a new event we have to give to a group Role the ability to record an event: look there : http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linden_ ... ial:Events

In a shame I had to download V 2.3, install it , login with it to go in my group to acctivate this new "power" as even group owner I couldn't record any event !

As a regular user it's not serious but if ever you need to announce new events you have to know it.

I'm happy to be back now with Cool VL

I had no problem entering events on group land as a group owner today (12/1).

Still, I'd like to see this extra "power" setting available in the Cool VL Viewer role assignments. I've got a dozen people who enter events for me from time to time. I sure don't want to have to log in with 2.3 just to let give them this "power." So, if you're taking votes Henri, in your copious spare time, if you would... :roll: hehe.

Please, replace the role_actions.xml file in the skins/default/xui/en-us/ directory of the Cool VL Viewer installation with the one attached to this message, and let me know if it works for you to assign the "Host Event" power to your group members, and whether this is enough or not for them to create group events (I don't have a group owned land to test it by myself).

I see now in the group Power : "Allow "event hosting" on group land
and it works right

It has been implemented in today's release (v1.25.0.18).
