For some business owners this can be a critical feature: The ability to autorespond to people's IM's. Autoresponses can be as simple as "Hi, I'm afk, drop me a notecard" or "Yes, I know the vendor system is borked, I'm working on it" and expand to auto-send a notecard or object if needed. (It's very useful because there ARE people on the grid who just FLIP. OUT. if they don't get a response in point-zero-two seconds when they IM a shopkeeper or other business person...) |

I've not enough time to work on this (Mesh backport comes first and is time consuming). However, v1.26.0.14 will allow you to send the Busy mode auto-response also when you are set Away if you so choose. |

That'll at least help. (Busy mode auto-declines inventory sends, though, which can be a hassle for some.) I know you're busy with Mesh, I wasn't trying to say this should be a rush job. ![]() ![]() |

I made the patch for Cool VL 1.23.5 and used (also in 1.25.0) privately. It was ported from Phoenix 1.5.0.187, now updated from 1.5.2.1185 and I made several changes. I didn't test enabling RestrainedLove. The differences between this patch and Phoenix 1.5.2.1185: 1. When "Enable Autoresponse" is enabled, "Announce incoming IMs" is disabled. But when "Enable Autoresponse" and "Autorespond only to non-friends" are enabled, "Announce incoming IMs" is enabled. Phoenix 1.5.2.1185: When "Enable Autoresponse" and "Announce incoming instant messages" are enabled, that forced to enable "Send as soon as they start typing". The sender receives the auto-response while they are typing, before sending. And then the recipient doesn't get incoming notice. 2. "Autorespond only to non-friends" and "Autorespond also to people you have muted" can be enabled when "Enable Autoresponse" is enabled. (See figure.) Phoenix 1.5.2.1185: "Enable Autoresponse", "Autorespond to non-friends" and "Autorespond to people you have muted" can be enabled independently. 3. World Menu: "Enable IM Autoresponse", this functions with its options; "Autorespond only to non-friends" and "Autorespond also to people you have muted". Phoenix 1.5.2.1185: Phoenix Menu > Enable Autoresponse, this functions independently, no relation with "Autorespond to non-friends" or "Autorespond to people you have muted". 4. Preferences Panel: The menu expressions are changed. 5. Preferences Panel: The menus are enabled/disabled depending on the other related ones. 6. Preferences Panel: The menus are disabled before loging in. Known issues: (These are the same as Phoenix 1.5.2.1185.) 1. When "Autorespond also to people you have muted" is enabled, auto-responed to every message from the muted people(even if "Autorespond to every message" is disabled). This is the same as Busy Mode auto-response. 2. When "Don't show IMs you auto-responded to" and "Send as soon as they start typing" are enabled, auto-responded twice; while they are typing and after sending. 3. When "Autorespond also to people you have muted" and "Send as soon as they start typing" are enabled, auto-responded while they are typing and to every message from the muted people(even if "Autorespond to every message" is disabled).
