Post Feature request: Notifications under Linux DEs
Hallo!

Is it possible that you make the viewer send notifications (eg rolling restart alerts, disconnection, IMs) to the desktop environment's notification system? It's the only interesting feature of Phoenix's (or any other viewer's for that matter) I miss in Cool.

I have a patch in my old deprecated dolphin viewer 1 that implements that, you can have it if you want.


in fact, henri, feel free to grab anything from DV1 that you think you could use. after all DV1 would have never happened without cool :)
