When you click play/stop button on gesture floater the scrollbar scrolls to a random position, usually to the middle of the floater. idk if this is intentional but it's annoying losing the sight of the gesture that you want to play or stop

It's impossible... Nothing changed in this respect since the bug was fixed, and I cannot reproduce it here either.

As I said, there has been strictly no change since I implemented the first fix (there was indeed a bug at the gesture floater level, which did not allow to restore properly a selection when rebuilding the list) that could explain this, and I have not been able to reproduce it, at first, after that fix...

You should however have discovered that the fix was not suitable for you as soon as I released the "fixed" version (and no, it's not anything that went into v1.26.2.36 that could explain it).
Please, refrain from drawing (totally wrong and misleading) conclusions about when a bug appeared, unless you can consistently reproduce the bug in a version and not in another.

There is in fact another, more subtle bug in LL's original code for LLScrollListCtrl::scrollToShowSelected(), that (also) causes this issue, whenever the UUIDs and the names of the gestures are not sorted in the same order (so, the bug won't show when you happen to play a gesture that gets sorted at (or around) the same position in the list, by either name or UUID). The bug stems to the fact that, before picking up the selected item number in the list, the latter was not checked for a needed sorting (and the flag for a needed sorting was not set either when clearing a list before rebuilding it). This is now fixed for good and for next release.
