Been experiencing this issue over the last few days. Unable to recreate using either Firestorm or SIngularity Viewers.

Issue was discovered originally while trying to attach shoes. The alpha layer, the base all loaded with no issue. THe prim foot (shoe) however would not load.

I changed viewers, attempted the same function and was able to load the shoe.

I also am able to remove an item if is already attached, but once removed, will not again attach.

Have since attempted to attach multiple items, shoes, clothing etc, prim attachments seem to be the only issue.

Please, follow the rules for this forum and provide the logs !

As a wild guess, I'd say that it's most probably a cached inventory issue. Clear the viewer cache and restart.

Thanks for replying Henri. I apologize for not posting a log, I didn't find either of those logs in the Cool Viewer program file and I didn't crash as a result. I'd be surprised if it's just a cache issue, because if i remember correctly, this occured on another computer as well. Also, i would have thought the cache cleared when i got the latest update. I'll give it a try and report back.

Tried clearing the cache, but that didn't resolve the issue. Here is the secondlife.log. There's no stack_trace.oeg or crash report. Hope this helps.

I'm having to split the log file in two parts because there is a file size limit of 64kb.

The problem is here:

Meaning that the viewer tries to read again and again the outfit.xml file and apparently fails (this file is used to store your outfit on log off and it is used on log on to restore your avatar multiple wearable layers and multiple attachments since the server only keeps track of one layer per type and one attachment per joint). Somehow, this file probably got corrupted...

Simply delete the "C:\Users\Maria X Nikas\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\nina_pizzicato\outfit.xml" file (while the viewer is not running) and relog.
