Kapersky false positive (was: keyword highlighting is dead)

In the latest version (1.26.7 (7)) I don't get any keyword highlighting anymore. |

Reinstall... Highlighting working just fine here, and not changed since v1.26.7.6 (when two keywords were added).

Ok, must be something in the install.
As soon as I try to install any of the 3 new versions my antivirus software (Kaspersky) goes up to 100% on 1 CPU and never comes back. :-/ |

Kaspersky is well known for its false positives, due to the "heuristic" algorithm it uses (i.e. it tries to spot "suspicious" code sequences in excess of virus footprints: of course such robotized guess-work often leads to lamentable failures among which many false positives).
Just use another free antivirus which isn't based on the highly unreliable heuristic algorithms but on a daily (or even hourly) updated virus footprints database instead. I'd recommend ClamWin. |

I have disabled all the heuristic stuff in Kaspersky now.
Reinstalled the client, keyword highlights are back.  |
