This only happens when wearing a non prim clothing item. Inventory will jump to the top of the inventory window. Doesnt do this when wearing a prim item

Please, describe properly the issue (I don't understand a word of what you wrote), and post the required info (see the rules).

Oops :

Ok I open inventory and scroll down to my outfit folder select a folder with the outfit I want and select a
Shirt layer and wear, inventory then resets it self back to the top of inventory and does this every time I wear a clothing layer. If I wear a prim item such as a skirt of belt or shoe prim inventory stays on that current folder from which I wore the items

This is repeatable for any clothing layer

Well, it's a good thing the log was finally posted, else I would still be wondering what the hell you meant... I could see in the log file that you were connected to an OpenSim grid and not in SL, and this was the relevant info !

The behaviour you observe comes from the fact that the newest releases got server-side baking (SSB) support and therefore update the Current Outfit folder (COF) each time a new clothing item is worn. When this happens, a new link is created in the COF and while it doesn't trigger an inventory folder reselection in SL, it does in OpenSim (this comes from the fact that, for OpenSim servers, the COF is not a a special system folder). So, when you wear a clothing item, a new inventory link is created by the viewer, and the OpenSim server sends a folder selection change request (which is the normal and default behaviour encountered when a new item appears in a normal folder of your inventory) to select the COF; since the COF is hidden by default by the Cool VL Viewer (unless you set the HideCurrentOutfitFolder debug setting to FALSE), the viewer instead selects the root folder of the inventory.

This is not a bug in itself, but since it is kind of annoying and since SSB is not supported by OpenSim for now, I changed the code for the next releases so that the COF is left untouched by default when connected to OpenSim grids (you will even be able to delete the COF on these grids).
