I've been using 1.26.4 and everything works well in that. I recently removed all of the various SL viewers that I had and then just re-installed 1.26.4 and 1.26.8 of the Cool VL Viewer. The 1.26.4 still works great, no issues. However, the 1.26.8 freezes or crashes on teleport. The first 1.26.8 release that I installed was 1.26.8.12 and it would just freeze in that release - I'd walk away for 20 min and come back and it was still frozen. I've now got the 1.26.8.15 release installed. Usually it will crash when I TP, but will sometimes freeze instead and have to be killed. Every TP out of sim will either crash or freeze, whereas I can usually successfully TP 1-2 times within a sim before it freezes or crashes. If I log back in to "last location", I do end up wherever I was trying to TP to.
My computer and viewer info are below and the logs are attached.

Question: in the hardware graphics settings, do you have VBO enabled ?
I found a bug in v1.26.8/9 that causes memory leaks (and consequently crashes after a while) when VBOs are disabled...

VBO was disabled. It had caused me issues in the past and so had been disabled for many viewer releases. I think when I first tried 1.26.8 (release 7 maybe), I was experiencing what seemed to be a memory leak if I ran the viewer for very long. In this particular case, it was crashing on TP right after logging in, so the viewer had been running less than 5-10 min. I did go ahead and enable the VBO and can now TP just fine. Hopefully, whatever the VBO performance issues were eons ago aren't still around - I've updated the graphics driver many times since back then.
Thanks much !!!!

Thanks for the info. The fix to the memory leak will be in next releases.
