Hi Henri!
I am experiencing an issue were i cannot click through transparent huds to active objects in world.
To test this, simply created a box, attached it to your hud, and set it to 100% transparent.
Anything occluded by the invisible box is impossible to click on for me. While i don't know what the magic cut off is for being able to pass a click through a transparent hud, i am pretty sure 100% used to work.
Is this just madness on my system, or can you reproduce this behavior?
Thank you as always! ~Lycia

Wow... and this got broken a looooong time ago, when I backported rigged mesh picking (v2+ viewers do picking differently with regard to asynchronous or immediate picks, and the "pick transparent" flag is to be handled in subtle different ways between these pick types)...
Fixed for next release.
In the mean time, you still may right-click (and "Touch" in pie menu) through transparent HUDs.

Wow, i had no idea how long it had been since I ran into a hud that used transparency!
Thank you again Henri! ~Lycia

Hi All,
Since the bug fix of Cool VL Viewer1.26.22.25 that made it possible to click on inworld objects through transparent HUDs, I now have two HUDs that no longer work properly. One is an alpha cut HUD for my Altamura body (I can no longer use many of the functions of that HUD but some functions I can use). Another is a Blow-Up Bento facial expression HUD (I can no longer choose individual expressions but I can use some of the non-expression functions).
I've temporarily switched to using Firestorm until I can find a copy of Cool VL Viewer 1.26.22.24 to revert back to. I'm a linux user currently using linux 4.19.7 kernel.
Otherwise this viewer works lovely, considering Firefox for linux has many an issue with performance.
If this is not the proper place to post this note, then I apologize (and should be suitably called out for it).
Dilli

Somehow, I expected someone coming up about the fix and complaining about some broken stuff... So I took care to add a debug setting. You can revert to the former behaviour by setting "AllowPickTransparent" to TRUE from the debug settings floater (CTRL SHIFT S). I guess I will add a "Tools" menu entry (similar to the "Pick..." ones) for this setting...

Okay, darn. I did some more testing and the LL viewer does intercept the left clicks on fully transparent surfaces. At lest these days. I am pretty sure you used to be able to left click through blindfold huds that relied on alpha, but maybe not... its been a long time since i messed with those. Anyway, right clicks seem to pass through transparency in the LL viewer but not left clicks. So, I have to apologize for that, and i am very sorry for the confusion. Can i ask to keep your modification as a debug feature though?
My apologies, and thank you again, ~Lycia
