Hi All,

New to Cool Viewer and have two questions please :D

One, I've set my preferences to have the start location be 'My Home' I'll click apply and it will show it's set to my home within the same session. But when I log off then come back I always come back to my last location. And the bullet is on 'My Last Location.'

Two, Is it my mouse or it's settings? I can't right click and copy/past text. Or is this just the way CV is and I need to use edit/copy/paste?

Thanks!
:P

When RestrainedLove is enabled, the startup location is ignored (and the SLURLs won't work when the viewer is called via them from an external browser). This is so that someone can't escape a RestrainedLove cage or trap by relogging... and is also why you then always relog at the location you logged off from.

Not sure what you are referring about... You can select text then either use CTRL C or the Edit --> Copy menu item to copy it, then CTRL V or Edit --> Paste menu item to paste it... In this respect, the Cool VL Viewer behaves exactly in the same way as official viewers...
With the Cool VL Viewer v1.23 and v1.24 under Linux you may also select some text and then click the middle mouse button to paste it elsewhere (but the text can only be pasted as long as it stays selected: it's a secondary, temporary paste buffer, "à la X11"...).
