There's a master media control - which lets us to turn off all sounds from sl. All.. but but media on prim. Like if i watch youtube using parcel media. Or someone does. It has sound. Anyway. (There's a TV on our community parcel.. and sometimes people watch it. And i listen music with sl sound off. And my music being interrupted with sounds from sl parcel media.)

This is not a bug of the viewer... The media such as Youtube use their own player, which in turn got their own volume controls. When the viewer opens a media and the latter uses a plugin (such as for viewing videos), the viewer can't control what this plugin does, including with sounds.
The volume controls of the viewer only act on media that are played directly by the viewer.

Can I control them somehow then? Other than disabling.

If there is no sound control on the playing media (there should be one), it depends on your OS and sound card driver... Under Linux, with OSS as the driver, one can control each individual sound stream from the OSS sound mixer.
