Hi,

there is a problem with the new invisiprim rendering in deferred mode in today's 1.26.5.9. Screenshot attached. Notice that the skin seems to be kind of (but not really) transparent. This happens for sky, water and I think shiny objects that are behind the skin.

It's a good thing that you added a switch to disable this feature. :)

Hi everyone,

seconded. I think it's just time to move on and forget about them. The Lab won't support them anymore, so ...

Love,
Lia

Interesting... I didn't have shinies around when I did the tests and since I usually don't use deferred rendering, I don't notice later on... I'm yet wondering why shinies are interfering with skin here... Oh, well... It was worth a try anyway.

Fixed in v1.26.5.10. Invisprims now render in deferred rendering mode in the same way as they do in v1.26.4 (i.e. with the same issue that causes shinies to be hidden by the invisprims, in excess of objects with semi-transparent textures that have always been hidden by invisprims, even in non-deferred mode).

Yes, that seems to be fixed now.

I can see a shadow on invisiprims though. But even with the shadow it is still far better than not having invisiprims at all. And the shadow only seems to be visible when I zoom in very close.

Thanks Henri!
